The Local Guys – Test & Tag is a family-built franchise established in 2019. From humble beginnings in Adelaide, South Australia, The Local Guys offers safety testing services nationwide to provide all states and territories safe workplaces. We have worked with various industries, from mining and construction to offices, schools, and hospitality businesses. We do it all!
Our technicians go above and beyond to ensure all of our work is carried out by the Australian standards as per AS/NZ 3760:2010 regulations. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of customer services, safety testing services, transparency and convenience for all of our customers, with a simple start-to-finish process designed to give you complete peace of mind!

Stacey is the driving forces behind The Local Guys brand. Prior to The Local Guys, Jarrad and Stacey both worked in various job roles. Jarrad travelled the world and experienced a range of opportunities, until she found his passion in electrical test and tagging over 10 years ago. Stacey worked as a qualified accountant at a reputable firm. With the desire to start a family and have a healthy work-life balance, they knew that the success and flexibility that test and tag could offer them outweighed all other possibilities… and so this is where they decided to focus their attention. As a result, Jarrad and Stacey have never been happier, and in 2020 they welcomed their first child into the world.
Jarrad has been working in the test and tag industry for more than 10 years and has managed clients with 1 to 10,000+ items. Over the decade, Jarrad has proudly won and managed many large tenders with government bodies and commercial businesses nationally. Additionally, Jarrad has trained and supported many technicians over the years. Jarrad and his team are exceptionally passionate about the industry and franchising. It’s this depth of experience and passion that he shares with the Franchise Partners.
Meet Taylor: Taylor is our Administrator and Marketing Assistant. Taylor is responsible for all things customer management and sales marketing. Taylor is the first point of contact for our clients and prides herself on her customer service skills.

At The Local Guys – Test & Tag, all technicians are Franchise Partners. This means you are working with the owner of a small business local to your area, rather than just an employee. As a result, our technicians take pride in their business and are dedicated to providing the highest quality service possible to their clients.

All technicians are uniformed and have $20,000,000 in Public Liability Insurance.
At The Local Guys Test & Tag, we believe in paying it forward, one meal at a time! We understand that business is important, however, we also believe it is important to give back to those in need. Every time we complete a job for any of our clients, we donate $5 to World Vision Australia! This has been one of our practices since the beginning of The Local Guys brand and as a result we been fortunate enough to donate thousands of dollars to a wonderful cause.
World Vision Australia uses all donations within Australia to help bridge the gap in many of our Aboriginal communities. Our customers know when they work with The Local Guys Test & Tag, not only are they protecting themselves, their businesses and their employees, but they are also giving back to the community.
